Everything here is general information about degree programs and the labour market they feed. It is not academic advising, career counselling, financial advice, or clinical or dietary advice of any kind. The editor is not a dietitian, and this site publishes no guidance about what to eat or how to treat any condition. See the about page for the full statement of what this site is and is not qualified to say.
Enrolling in a degree is a decision worth thousands of dollars and years of your life. Verify anything that matters directly with the institution before you act on it.
Affiliate disclosure
This site may receive compensation when readers request information from or enroll in programs featured here. Sponsored placements are labeled. Accreditation guidance, wage data, and program structure data are sourced directly from official records and are reported the same way regardless of partnership status.
Stated plainly: position in a ranking is not for sale. Every order on this site is computed by the model published at /methodology/, applied identically to every program, with no editorial override. Where a placement is sponsored it is labeled and sits outside the ranking.
Accuracy of program and salary data
Program data comes from IPEDS, the federal reporting institutions are required to file, and wage data comes from the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics release. Both are published on a lag, so figures describe the most recent reporting period available rather than today.
Wage figures are medians and percentiles across an occupation. They are not a prediction of what you will earn, and they vary with location, experience, employer and setting. This site publishes no employment growth projections, because the wage survey it uses contains none.
Tuition, admission requirements, accreditation status and delivery mode change without notice. Delivery mode in particular is read from each school’s own page at a point in time; a school can move a program online, or stop offering it online, at any point after that.
Accreditation and credentialing
Whether a program leads to a credential is determined by the accreditor and the credentialing board, not by this site. ACEND maintains the list of accredited programs and the Commission on Dietetic Registration sets the requirements for the RDN and NDTR. Where anything here conflicts with those bodies, they are right and we are wrong. Confirm a program’s current status with the accreditor before enrolling on the strength of it.
Using the site
You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Use it for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or networks
- Interfere with or disrupt the site’s operation
- Scrape or bulk-collect content by automated means without written permission
- Republish substantial portions of the content without attribution and consent
- Transmit malicious code through the site
Intellectual property
The underlying federal data is public. The rankings, scoring model, written analysis, page structure and design on this site are ours, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property law. Quote and link freely with attribution; do not republish pages wholesale.
Third-party links
This site links to institutions, government agencies and professional bodies. Those links are provided for your convenience. We do not control those sites, do not endorse them by linking, and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Online Nutrition Programs and its owner are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the site or from reliance on anything published here, including decisions about where to enrol.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. When they are, the “last updated” date above changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
